Stage 1 - Denial

Denial is the first stage in grief. If you have experienced pregnancy loss and find yourself in the stage of denial, you are not alone.

Here are some steps to help you in the stage of denial. 

o    Be honest with yourself and others. 
o    Speak it and don’t be ashamed of it. 
o    Journal. 
o    Write a letter to God. 
o    Write a letter to your baby. 

 

Stage 2 - Anger

Anger is a powerful emotion and can sometimes be frightening because of the intense emotions attached to anger, but there is hope. 

Paul tells us in Colossians 3:8, “But now you also, put them all aside; anger, wrath, malice, slander and abusive speech from your mouth.”

Here are some steps to help you in the stage of anger. 

o   Confess your anger. 

o   Analyze your anger. 

o   Remember whose you are. 

o   Submit to the goodness of God. 

o   Find ways to release the energy of anger.
